अर्गलास्तोत्रम्

कृष्णेन संस्तुते देवि शश्वद्भक्त्या सदाम्बिके । रूपं देहि जयं देहि यशो देहि द्विषो जहि ॥२१॥ कृष्णेन = by Krishna संस्तुते=worshipped देवि=oh goddess शश्वत्-भक्त्या=by continuous-devotion सदा=always अम्बिके=oh ambika रूपं देहि जयं देहि यशो देहि द्विषो जहि = Please Grant me (Spiritual) Victory, Please Grant me (Spiritual) Glory and Please Destroy my (Inner) Enemies. तारिणि दुर्गसंसारसागरस्याचलोद्भवे । रूपं देहि जयं देहि यशो देहि द्विषो जहि ॥२६॥ तारिणि = oh the one who makes someone cross over (voc. sing. fem. of तारिन्) दुर्ग-संसार-सागरस्य = of difficult-"worldy existence"-sea दुर्ग-संसार-सागरस्य तारिणि =  oh one who helps cross over the Difficult Ocean of the Samsara (Worldly Existence). अचल-उद्भवे = oh "mountain/unmoving"-produced(fem. voc. sing. उद्भव) = oh one born to the mountain king रूपं देहि जयं देहि यशो देहि द्विषो जहि = Please Grant me (Spiritual) Victory, Please Grant me (Spiritual) Glory and Please Destroy my (Inner) Enemies. Salutations to Devi Durga, Who took Birth from Mountain (i.e. daughter of mountain king) and Who Enables us to Cross the Difficult Ocean of the Samsara (Worldly Existence).
